Toolkit Series
The Toolkit Series is a series of fundamental process improvement tools that may be used to achieve business benefit. Each of these tools are also used in as part of Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement disciplines. Each class is a one day seminar, designed especially for those attendees who want to get started developing their process improvement skills but are not ready to commit to one of the larger systems like Lean or Six Sigma.Process Mapping
Process mapping is one of the most fundamental and powerful tools used in any improvement initiative. Proper use of this tool can improve communication, quickly uncover “low hanging fruit” improvements that do not require advanced methodologies to identify and repair.
Root Cause Analysis (8D)
Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
Failure Modes and Effects Analysis is a powerful tool used to thoroughly review the components of a design or process, identify potential causes and consequences of failures, prioritize their importance, and develop countermeasures or design changes to avoid or reduce the effects of the failure. Although FMEA is used most commonly to analyze products and systems it also can be used to analyze processes of any type.
